Shooting Stick (Hammond Chanted Evening)

lyrics

Hammond chanted evening
And the full fat moon hung low
Hammond chanted evening
Wanting night to slow
He's meeting strangers and making friends
At Backstage bar and grill
He's throwing darts and shooting stick
And looking for some thrills
Ball in hand calling shots
Follow through to the foot spot
The striker’s stroke he’s on a run
Fingers dusted the talcum slips
Doug contemplates the coming sun and the leave and the kiss
Hammond chanted evening
You may seize a strangler
Of cross and crowding gloom
And somehow, your nose…
Your nose evens
Zen that some bears will seize her and gain and begin
Paired up in a blind draw
Who can explain it?
The flies are on her side
Never let her go!
Hammond counts to Zen
And contemplates the break and the miss

I've made songs deemed charming and lush. Sounds about right. ... more
